Katie earned her physical therapy doctorate from Northwestern University in 2017. She became a certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) in 2020. She has spent her career in the outpatient orthopedic setting treating a variety of patients.

Katie is most proud of her previous experience working with professional and pre-professional dancers and performing artists. She feels that this refined some of her treatment techniques including, manual therapy, taping, and assessing and re-training movement patterns. She is trained in treating patients with low back pain via the McKenzie Method. She is additionally experienced with treating patients with concussion, and post-operatively after hip, ankle, or foot surgeries. Katie empowers her patients through education about their condition, and in strategies to independently manage their symptoms to facilitate a quicker recovery.

Outside of the clinic, Katie stays active with fitness classes and running 5Ks to half marathons. She enjoys traveling, concerts, Chicago sports, and time with family, friends, and her cat.
